Cpl. Matthew J. Stanley of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire grew up in the Ossipee Wolfeboro area. In 2002, he graduated from Kingswood Regional High School, where he was well-known and well-liked by his peers and teachers. He was outgoing and deeply proud and personal about his two tours of duty in Iraq. He was a typical boy who loved to take things apart and put things back together. He always had a good circle of friends. He was the type of kid that everybody wanted for a friend. Matt had been married less than a year. He was 22. Repulican Presidential hopeful, Senator John McCain wears a black bracelet with Matthew's name on it. He has worn the bracelet since Matt's mother gave it to him. More often than not, when Senator McCain wraps up a rally or a political event, he will close by telling the audience about Matthew.
