Donald Thomas Hamrick, age 73, of Cumming, gained his angel wings Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015. Donald faithfully served our country in the National Guard. Donnie was a graduate of Milton High School class of 1961. He studied electronics at DeVry University and was employed by Scientific Atlanta from 1967 until 1999. He is preceded in death by his wife, Earlene Moore Hamrick; parents, Raymond and Totsie Hamrick; sister, Brenda Adams; brothers, Lonnie Hamrick and Danny Hamrick.

Survivors include his daughter, Donna Bell ( Rick); son, Chris ( Sonya); grandchildren, Cary Bell, Haley Bell, Hunter Bell, Keva Hamrick, Tyler Hamrick, Kara Hamrick, Kayla Hamrick; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Kaley and Kaleb; sisters; Barbara Long, Frances Hardy (John), Peggy Brumbelow ( Ray), Sue Jenniges (John) and Vicki Dispoto; brothers, Ray Hamrick (Norma) and Randy Hamrick (Sherry); loving sister-in-law, Lillie Hamrick; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation is planned Monday, Dec. 14, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m., with private viewing for immediate family only from 5 to 6 p.m.

The memorial service will be held on Dec. 15, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home, with internment at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
