ARKANSAS CITY – Helen Louise Case, 79, of Arkansas City, died April 2,2003, at her home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hawks Funeral Home. Loren Grimes will officiate.
Private inurnment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
Case was born July 5, 1923, in Burden, to Ethel (Brown) and Charlie McKibben. She was raised in Winfield.
On March 9, 1942, she married Vern M. Case in Miami, Okla . They later divorced. On Nov. 24, 1996, they remarried in Arkansas City wh ere they lived. He died
Nov. 23, 2002.
Case worked as an aide at Winfield St ate Hospital and Training Center for 28 years before retiring in 1985.
Survivors include two sisters, Lois Hair, Salina, Okla., and Betty Kelley, Winfield.

Winfield, Cowley, Kan. until his death 18 Dec 1991. And survivors Brother in Law Sam McLaughlin of Winfield, Kansas.
There is a headstone in place at Salem Cemetery for her as well.
