Linda Pearl Emery, age 62 of Bowling Green, KY, passed away at sunset in the arms of family and friends Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born November 12, 1953 to the late Aubrey and Elsie Cherry of Scottsville, KY. She was retired from the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Linda is known in the community for amazing strength which allowed her to survive pancreatic cancer for 6 years defeating all odds. She was a follower of Jesus and attended Living Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Emery; Daughter, Danielle Emery; Son and Daughter in-law, Daniel and Jennifer Emery; Sister, Jewell Carter; Brother, Billy Cherry all of Bowling Green; Sister, Mary McIntyre of Glasgow; Several nieces and nephews also survive. She is preceded in death by her Sister, Ersie Woods of Portland, TN.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 26th, 2016, at 2:00pm, at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday 3pm to 8pm and Monday 9am until time of funeral.
