Teresa Ann Morris, born to Don and Peggy Powell, a devoted wife and mother passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016.
Mrs. Morris was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola and enjoyed a 42 year career with the Escambia County School District, finishing her tenor at the Hall Center. Teresa had a thirst for life, always had a smile on her face, and could always be counted on for her generosity and infectious smile. Forever the optimist, she rarely let a bad day ruin her mood. She was our rainbow after the storm, and she will be missed. Preceding her in death include her parents, and sister, Donna.
Survivors include her husband, Zedicar; son, Philip Selvers (Renee); granddaughter, Jaiden; grandsons, Austin and Connor; brother, Richard Powell (Ruth) and Richard’s son Kristopher; nephews, Kevin, Randall and Ben Whitlock; cousins, Larry Thiemer, Lynn Hogg and Karen Hoverton; just to name a few; as well as the rest of her extended family and friends. Visitation will be at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 6 PM till 8 PM.
Funeral service will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10 AM.
