The Evansville Historical Society found records in the Our Savior's Lutheran Church of two children born to the couple. Clara was born June 18, 1884 and Hilma Ausine was born June 9, 1886. Johanna died Oct.31, 1886, when Hilma was just 4 months old. Her death record states Typhoid Fever as her cause of death. Working with the Historical Society, it is assumed that Johanna is buried in Mound Grove Cemetery in Evansville, as Ole bought a plot there. But, there are no cemetery records for 1886.
