On March 5, 1921, Clyde Robert Tabor and Agnes Emma Edwards were united in marriage in Bartholobew County, Indiana. William Hobson, Minister, officiated. The marriage license and certificate are recorded in Bartholomew County marriages 1920 - 1921 Volume 28.
Clyde and Agnes Emma Tabor had one daughter, Nellie Anna May, born August 28, 1922 in Columbus, Indiana, according to her birth certificate.
They were divorced in 1924. In the 1940 Federal census and in her marriage license/certificate to Rex King, she used her stepfather's last name - Shumaker. Her stepfather was Herschel Shumaker.
Clyde Tabor married Jeanette Malloy on December 22, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN. She was the mother of their five children. Jeanette Tabor died on April 15, 1937 of pneumonia.
Sometime around 1945, Clyde Tabor married Theresa McCallister in Terre Haute. His children had been living with relatives until his remarriage, when they went to live with their father and stepmother in the Nashville, IN, area. A review of newspapers indicate that Clyde Tabor had become a well-known sign painter by 1948.

Clyde Tabor, of R2, Brownstown, passed away at his residence in Tampico late Monday night.
Born January 28, 1900, Mr. Tabor was 71 years of age. He was a retired sign painter.
His wife Teresa, preceded him in death last July. He is survived by two sons, Donald, of Aurora, Illinois, and Roger, of Indianapolis, and three daughters, Mrs. George Monroe, Nashville, Indiana; Mrs. Don Butler, Seymour, and Mrs. Marshall Norman, of Norman. Nineteen grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
Mr. Tabor was a World War I veteran and military rites will be conducted by the Seymour American Legion Post athe Home on Thursday, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Smallwood Cemetery.
