June Louise Allen Wilson was born in Omaha, Nebraska on November 23, 1926. Later, she was adopted and given a wonderful home by Leonard and Clara Allen.
She spent her youth in Pella, where she took an active part in the Tulip Time festival every spring. Her other interests were music, singing duets with her father, outdoor life, and church activities.
She attended Central College, studying education and music. She taught kindergarten in New Virginia, where she met Floyd Wilson.
The couple married on December 21, 1947. The marriage was blessed with three wonderful children.
June left her earthly life on June 22, 2015.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and sister-in-law, Janice Euritt.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Brooks Funeral Care, 7975 University Blvd, Clive, with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 10:00 A.M.
