Charles H. Ledbetter, 77, a retired automobile salesman, passed away September 5, 2016 at Baptist Hospital in Oxford, MS.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years Pamela Bolen Ledbetter (daughter of Jack Bolen); daughter Carrie Ledbetter; son Chuck Ledbetter (Julie); sister Nancy Chiles (Larry) all of Clarksdale, MS; brother Larry Ledbetter of Franklin,TN. Granddaughter Callie Jo Griffin; family friend Bill Warren and loving caregivers Mary and LaShonda Brinkley.

He was a member of the Clarksdale Elks Lodge #977 and Coahoma County Country Club.

Preceded in death by parents Henry C. & Sunnie Littrell Ledbetter and sister Joan Ledbetter Martin.

At Charles' request, his body will be donated to the University of Mississippi for the advancement of science.

Visitation is Thursday, September 8, 2016, 1:00-2:30pm at Lyon United Methodist Church in Lyon, MS. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30pm Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Lyon United Methodist Church in Lyon, MS. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
