Donna passed away June 14, 2014
Donna Mahoney, nee Fisk, was born January 20, 1938 in Yakima WA. Donna earned her R.N. at St. Elizabeth's school of nursing in Yakima. While there she found her faith with the Catholic Church and went on to become a nun of the Sisters of Providence. She received a Bachelor's degree from Seattle University. After eight years of service with the Sisters, she decided to leave and eventually met Joe Mahoney with whom she shared 45 years of marriage. Donna spent many years as a Daughter of Saint Francis De Sales. She was extremely driven by her faith and loved to read scripture. Donna is survived by her husband, Joe; brother, Ronald Fisk; children, Maria Adsley, Marc, Marijo, and Mindy Mahoney, as well as granddaughters Alyssa and Kendall.
Donna touched every person she ever met with her amazing spirit and kind heart. She was an inspiration to her children, her grandchildren, and countless people throughout her life.
A memorial service will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Parish in Federal Way on June 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. Please sign the guest book at www.bonneywatson.com.
