Anna had eight children: George, William, Charles, Nellie, Mae, infant sons in 1881 and 1884 and another infant. She died, at age 35, of puerperal fever (complication of childbirth), leaving her husband with several young children. As one of the first of the children of Samuel and Eliza Baker to die, (her husband Wm Golze also died young in 1897) she was one of the few who did not make it to a family reunion for her parents in 1904; Several of Anna's adult children did attend. There is a photo of Anna's siblings at the reunion but none known of her.

Wm Golze is buried in Maroa Cemetery per his obituary. There are no markers for Anna, Wm or infants.
