Jeffrey Lyle Guthrie, 32, of Oakman, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, at UAB Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Jasper. Burial will be at Friendship Estates. Kenneth Wiggins will officiate.
Visitation will be held today, Sept. 23, 2016, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, and from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Guthrie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Avery and Florence Guthrie; Ada Guthrie; Lois Huggins; Jim and Liz Blackwell and Jenny Wade.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Gordon Guthrie; daughters, Camille Guthrie and Lexi Guthrie; parents, Jeff Guthrie, Denise Smith and Dr. Don Smith; grandparent, Amelia Barton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Brenda Gordon; sister-in-law, Jamie and Sam Bailey; and grandmother-in-law, Betty Clark.
Pallbearers will be Haley Williams, Shane Blackwell, Ricky Blackwell, Colt Black, Kenny Swanigan, Cory Franks, Nathan Alexander and Ryan Hensley.
The family requests donations be made to the Camille and Lexi Guthrie Education Account at Regions Bank of Jasper.
