Faustina Quintal Colgan, 51, of 33 Riverbrook Road, the wife of U.S. Navy Capt. John Gerald Colgan, died Tuesday, in Ottawa. She was a native of New Bedford, Mass.

She was a member of the St, John the Apostle Catholic Church, Napanee; Military Attache Wives; University Women's Club of Ottawa; Canadian Crippled Children's Fund; NAVY Relief Society; and Welcome-to-Ottawa Club.

Other survivors include two sons, Michael Colgan of Washington, D.C., and James Q. Colgan of Syracuse, N.Y.; and a sister, Lenora Quintal of New Bedford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Naval Air Station, Oceana, Virginia Beach, Va., by Chaplain Anthony Dikaufs. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Memorial donations May be made to the American Heart Fund.
