Mr. Ross was a member of Valley Springs Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and was active in other church ministries. He served in the United States Army and was retired from the Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant, where he worked for many years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rethiea Lee Ross and one son, Eddie Ross Jr.
He is survived by four daughters, Ethel Mae Rhodes and husband Charlie of Minden, Mary Helen Ross and Christine Brown of Los Angles, Calif., and Milgrid Ross of Davenport, Iowa; two sons, David Lee Ross of Minden and Freddie Ross of Davenport; one brother; one sister; 12 grandchildren; and a host of great- and great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
