GREENSBORO - Ivy Williams Hipp, 76, of Greensboro passed away at her home on Sunday, May 8, 2011.

A funeral service will be held today, May 10, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Summerfield. The service will be conducted by Reverend Roger Barricks. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.

Ivy was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ora Pegram Williams. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernest Leo Hipp, and seven siblings.

She is survived by her children: Guy Hipp and wife, Jan; Larry Hipp and wife, Janice Fleury; Donna Watts and husband, Keith; Michael Hipp and wife, Robyn; five grandchildren: Joy Sauls, Jonathan Hipp, Amanda Watts, Emily Hipp, and Mary Hipp; four great-grandchildren: Conner Sauls, Logan Sauls, Addison Hipp, and Finley Sauls; and a sister, Dora Stephenson of New Albany, IN.

She was member of the First Baptist church of Summerfield.
