Robert L. "Rob" Covey, 52, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015, at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis.
Rob was born April 12, 1962, in Bloomington. Rob leaves behind a wife of 30 years Liz Covey; sons, Robert Brian Covey (Sherry) and Dustin Scott Covey both of Bloomington; grandson, Bryar Covey; granddaughter, Kelsey Covey; mother, Joann East of Ellettsville; father, Ron Eads (Linda) of Bloomington; brothers, Rick Covey (Connie), Dave Covey (Renee) Danny and Richard Mobley, and Ronnie Eads (Tammy); sisters, Ronita Walcot, Ronessa Lenning, Rhonda Johnson, and Ronica Walcott.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leroy and Maxine Covey; brothers, Tom Covey, Kenny Covey, Jimmy Deckard Ronson Eads; and sister, Kathy English.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Clear Creek Cemetery with Brother Bruce Baker officiating. Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville is assisting with Rob's arrangements. Visit chandlerfh.com to share condolences, memories and more with his family.
