Helen was working as a secretary and playing championship Badminton in the early 1940's. She married Charles in 1945 and with in the next year she won the CA state doubles championship and then gave birth to her first child. All together they had four children: Jeffrey, Melinda, Deborah and Christopher.

Badminton Champion The newest baby, Jeffery by name, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Tibbetts. His mother is the former Helen Noble who, only six months before his birth, won the State badminton championship in mixed doubles.
