Ronald D. Bowen, 73, of Gibson City died at 1 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 21, 2016) at the Gibson Area Hospital Annex in Gibson City.
Mr. Bowen was born March 23, 1943 in Bloomington, a son of Charles E. and Irene Margaret Beck Bowen. He married Naveen Delk on Aug. 25, 1962 in Gibson City. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Rick (Julie) Bowen; three grandchildren and a brother, Sherman Bowen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Truman and two infant sons.
Ron had worked in the auto industry since the age of 14 finishing his career as general manager of the Twin City Honda/BMW Dealership in Savoy, retiring in 2008. Ron was an avid fan of his grandchildren, following all their sporting events, plays and concerts.
