Mrs. Nancy Thorton
Mrs. Nancy C. Thorton, 86, of Raiford died Saturday, May 19, in Raleigh, North Carolina after a brief illness.
Born in the Johnstown community of Union County. Mrs. Thorton lived most of her life in Raiford and was a member of the Raiford Baptist Church. She was visiting a grandddaughter in Raleigh when she died.
Survivors includes; one son, Clyde Thorton of Raiford; one sister, Evie Stubbs of Goulds, Fla.; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 22, in Raiford Baptist Church with Rev. Hugh Walters officiating. Burial followed in Sapp Cemetery under the direction pf Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler
