Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Pelkey.
Mrs. Barron was a cashier for the Outlet Co. for 16 years before retiring. She attended Katharine Gibbs School, Providence.
Her husband is her immediate survivor.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Master Baptist, Broadway. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
