Matthew W. Wright, age 57, of Anna, Texas, formerly of Ashtabula, passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016.
Born March 4, 1959, in Ashtabula, Ohio, he was a son of Mary and the late Yale Wright.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda; daughter, Rainie; mother, Mary Wright; brother, Michael Wright; sisters, Machelle Emery and Mary Encinas; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Yale Wright; and two brothers, Mark and Mitchell Wright.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23rd, at Van Alstyne Cemetery, Texas.

Wright, age 75, of West 30th St., Ashtabula, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at his home.Born Jan. 20, 1934, in Ashtabula, Ohio, he was the son of William and Merle (Yale) Wright and has been a lifetime area resident.Yale had been employed with Ashtabula City, until his retirement in 1987.He is a member of the First Grace Gospel Church. He also had started Scout Read of Boy Scout of American in Ashtabula County. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards.Surviving him are his wife, Mary (Pirigyi) Wright, whom he married Dec. 14, 1956; four children, Matthew (Brenda) Wright of Richardson, Texas, Michael (Lynda) Wright of Texas, Machelle Emery and Mary (Brian) Encinas, both of Ashtabula; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley (William) Cartner of Ashtabula.He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Mark and Mitchell Wright; three brothers, Wilbur, Calvin and Gordon; and by three sisters, Lola, Irene and Olive.A Memorial Service will be 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 18th, at the First Grace Gospel Church, 5730 Adams Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio, with Pastor David Adams officiating.
