Jack Frederick Cooper of Azle, Texas was escorted to his heavenly home by his big sister Janet on Monday, September 19, 2016 surrounded by his earthly family after a short battle with cancer.

Jack was born on July 9, 1934 in Wyeville, WI to Frederick and Alice (Orvis) Cooper.

After graduating high school Jack enlisted in The United Air Force on August 31, 1955 serving in Africa, Porta Rico, The Falkland Islands and ending up at Carswell Air Force Base in Texas, he was given an honorable discharge on August 30, 1961 having earned the rank of "Senior Airman".

Jack married Elizabeth "Mitzi" Clara Summers in 1954 (Jack and Mitzi were later divorced).
Jack married Dorothy Jean Hubbard on October 20, 1967.

Jack was a member of The New Hope Baptist Church of Boyd, Texas.

Jack worked for many years for Cliff's Music and for Portland Cement prior to his retirement. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and dancing at the Senior Center of Springtown.

Jack is survived by his daughter; Jackie Sue "Cooper" Long of Paradise, TX, two grandsons; Albert Joseph (Theresa) Long of Springtown, TX and Michael Adam (Heather) Long of Georgia, one granddaughter; Jackie "Sissy" Elizabeth (Olen) Jackson of Springtown, TX, seven great grandchildren; Austin, Aisley, Madison, Micah and Gweneth Long and Ethan and Aerial Jackson, two brothers; Robert (Rose) Cooper of Albany, WI, Donnie Adams of LaFarge, WI, three sisters; Mary Jane (Ron) Melvin of Madison, WI, Bev (Jim) Mosel of Madison, WI and Cathi (Robert) Fischer of Albany, WI.
Jack was preceded in death by; his wives; Elizabeth "Mitzi" "Summers" Cooper and Dorothy Jean "Hubbard" Cooper, his father; Frederick Bryant Cooper, his mother; Alice "Orvis" Adams, his stepfather; Curtis Joseph "Pepper" Adams, sister; Janet Ione "Cooper" Melvin, brother; Gerald LaVerne Cooper, Sister in law; Judy "Borge" Adams and brother in law; Loyal "Ben" Melvin.
Jack will be laid to rest in The Cottondale Cemetery in Paradise, Texas with full Military Honors
