Jesse Parrish was born October 22, 1893 in Lawrence County, Indiana to Albert and Artie (Pridemore) Parish. Jesse lived in Pittsburg, Kansas for a few years and in Missouri. He married Hazel B. Ogborn on September 18, 1925. They had at least four children. At 6 AM on September 4, 1949 Jesse fell on the sidewalk and fractured his skull. He was taken to the Columbus hospital by Gosney ambulance and was in the hospital for ten days. Jesse Parrish died on September 14, 1949 in Columbus, Indiana. He is buried in Rest Haven Cemetery.
