Anna Mae Beaver, of Marion County
Services were held Sunday at the Burns Funeral Home Chapel in Yellville for Mrs. Anna Mae Beaver, 86. A longtime resident of Marion County, Mrs. Beaver died Friday at the Marion County Nursing Home in Yellville.
She was born Jan. 3, 1891, at Buffalo City, the daughter of Thomas Newton Tilley and Sarah Sutterfield Tilley. She moved to Marion County 60 years ago from Harrison, and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Linnia Fitzgerald of Tulsa, Okla.; a son, Eugene J. P. Beaver of Aurora, Mo.; a brother, George W. Tilley of Anderson, Inc.; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Rev. Basil Edwards and Rev. Hugh A. May officiated at the funeral. Pallbearers were Tom Hudson, Woodrow ward, H. C. Hall, Jim Beaver, Mike Beaver and Lynn Seal. Interment was in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, with Burns in charge of arrangements.
