Pastor Paul “Ozie” Jennings, age 85, of Parrottsville, passed away Sunday morning, September 25, 2016 at his home.

He was Pastor of Brown’s Chapel Church in Parrottsville for over 30 years.

Pastor Jennings was preceded in death by his parents Mark and Hattie Jennings; sisters Lillie Willis, Kate (Guy) Wilhoit, Evelean (Carman Hensley) Self, Anna Ruth Johnson, and Lura Morrow.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years Zola Mae Jennings of the home; children Deborah (Raymond) Gregg Jr, Johnny (Rita) Jennings, Gayla Rader and Shawn ( Lyticha) Jennings all of Parrottsville; Melissa (David) Ottinger and Tommy (Sandy) Jennings all of Greenevillie; George (Sandy) Jennings of Washington County and Ricky (Tamra) Jennings of Mosheim; sister Zura (Fred Jr.) Hugg of Parrottsville and brothers-in-law Clyde Willis and Boyd Morrow both of Parrottsville; grandchildren Kelvin (Amy) Gregg, Angie Gregg, Matthew Jennings, Andy (Patricia) Ottinger, Miranda (Scott) Cameron, Mark (Taeylor) Jennings, Cody Jennings, Hannah Jennings, Ashley Jennings, Rebekah Jennings, Trevor Jennings and Dustin Rader; step grandchildren Beth Gilliam and Hannah Gilliam; great grandchildren Catlin, Madison, Dakota, Dylan, Deanna, Simone, Layla, Parker, Sara, Sadie and Emma. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including special friend Tammy Woody of Greeneville.

The funeral service will be held 3:00pm Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Brown’s Chapel Church with Rev. Steven Saults and Randel Frisbee officiating. The casket will lie in state at the church from 10:00am to 3:00pm Wednesday prior to service. Interment will follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00pm Tuesday evening September 27, 2016 at Brown’s Chapel Church.
