Gen. John Glover, at Springfield, July 9,1780; age, 18 yrs.; stature, 5 ft. 10 in.; complexion, light; engaged for town of Roxbury; arrived at Springfield July 8, 1780; marched to camp July 9, 1780, under command of Lieut. Jackson of the artillery; also, pay roll for 6 months men raised by the town of Roxbury for service in the Continental Army during 1780; marched July 4, 1780; discharged Dec. 31, 1780; service, 6 mos. 8 days.
