Norma Myers was born in Ritzville, WA. to Dan and Marie Borgens. Norma's favorite times were spent helping her Daddy outside on the farm. Norma graduated from Ritzville High School in 1952. She enjoyed many activities and was even the Homecoming Queen.

After graduating Norma worked at the then Ritzville State Bank working as a bookkeeper and moving up to teller. Norma met and married Milton Russell in November 1954. They lived in Ritzville where Milton was employed at Benzel Ford Sales. Norma stayed on at the bank until 1958 until retiring and started raising their family. They relocated to Pullman, WA. in June 1960 when Milton hired on with Washington State University. Together they have three children: Pamela Lane Stice, Vickie Holzmiller, and Monte Russell. Norma spent many hours as a Blue Bird/Camp Fire Girl leader, active in Boy Scouts, and a bowling instructor. Milton and Norma were 4-H leaders for many years, as their children were active in 4-H/FFA. Norma continued on as a part time bookkeeper before hiring on with Washington State University in Career Services.

Following a divorce Norma met and married James Myers of Pullman, WA. They relocated to the Auburn area in the early 80's where they enjoyed camping, cross country motorcycle rides, but most of all spending time with their families. Together she had four step-children: Sue Myers of Pullman, WA., Steve Myers of Pullman, WA., Jim Myers of Maple Valley, WA., and Christie Myers of Pullman, WA. Numerous grandchildren/great-grandchildren.

Norma also enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle, hand and foot, bridge, Wii bowling, attending High School Alumni reunions, and local casino trips. Family gatherings were her favorite.

Norma is preceded in death by her husband James Myers, her parents Dan and Marie Borgens, sister Darlene Kiesz, and nephew Cory Kiesz.

Norma is survived by her three children: Pamela (Mike) Lane Stice of Pullman WA., Vickie (Vincent) Holzmiller) of Otis Orchards, WA., Monte (Shelly) Russell of Renton, WA. Six grandchildren: Tessa (James) Hoplin, Joel Holzmiller, Levi Lane, Tyna Holzmiller, Megan Russell, and Ryan Russell. Two great grandchildren: Avery Holzmiller, and Henry Hoplin. Sister Cleola Jackman, two neices, and three nephews.

She will be greatly missed by everyone that she touched in life. A private celebration will be held in Pullman, WA. at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of their choice.
