She was born on March 19, 1989, in Canton to Donnie Deal and Kimberley K. Adams.

Surviving are her father, Donnie Deal of Kingston Mines; her mother and stepfather, Kimberley K. and Stan Markland of Canton; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Georgianna Welker of Canton and Darrell Adams of Limestone, Tenn.; maternal great-grandmother, Flora Cowell of Mountain View, Ark.; paternal grandfather, Delbert Deal of Kingston Mines; stepgrandparents, Jim and Pat Markland of Canton; two brothers, Brandon Adams and Austin Markland, both of Canton; one sister, Abbey (Mike) Marinich of Canton; and one nephew, Max Marinich of Canton.

She was a senior at Canton High School and worked at Hy-Vee Food Store in Canton.

She was a member of the Kingston Mines United Methodist Church and participated in the Best Buddies program at Canton High School.
