Billie Ann Henderson – age 71 of Knoxville, passed away Monday, September 19th, 2016 at Shannondale Health Care. Ann was born December 11, 1944 to the late Bill H. and Edna (Largen) Henderson. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Knoxville. A native of Philadelphia, Ann graduated from Loudon High School, Class of 1962. She attended Business School and lived for a few years in Chattanooga before coming to Knoxville in 1968. She worked for the State of Tennessee and retired from the Department of Human Services.

The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the staffs of Shannondale Retirement Community and Shannondale Health Care for the excellent and compassionate care they provided to Ann. In addition the family extends their thanks to Dr. Douglas Marlow for his outstanding medical care.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and brothers in-law, Rev. J.S. Aiken and Hugh L. McQueen. She is survived by her sisters, Martha Henderson Aiken, Knoxville and Ruth Henderson McQueen, Loudon.

Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice or contributions in memory of Ann may be earmarked for the Rev. Bob and Syndor Money Ministerial Scholarship Fund, making checks payable to the First Baptist Church, 510 W. Main St. Knoxville, TN 37902.
