Emilee Susan Johnson, age 94, of Claxton passed away Monday evening, September 19, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
Emilee was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Gene, Jerry and Paul Johnson; parents, Fred Whitener and Mattie Danner Whitener; siblings, Cecilia, Eller, Edna, Vesta, Ruth, Bob, Clifton and Ray.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life at 7 p.m. with Rev. Mike Hall officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. on Friday at Woodhaven Cemetery for graveside services.
