Wendy McLaurin Dennis, 43, passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2016 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. She was born Sept. 2, 1972, a daughter of Dennis and Anne Hiott McLaurin.
Wendy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Jim Dennis; her parents, Denny and Anne McLaurin of Marston; children, Victoria Brigman and Trip Brigman both of Rockingham and Spencer Dennis and Amy Dennis both of Sylacauga, Alabama; a sister, Melonie Anne McLaurin of Rockingham; and a beloved nephew, Charlie Jackson of Hamlet.
A service to celebrate Wendy's life will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at All Saints Episcopal Church in Hamlet with Father Stuart Hoke and Charlie Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church in the Parish Hall.
