Christopher J. Hogan, age 58, of Kettering, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. He was born in Dayton on November 17, 1957 to the late Thomas & Constance Hogan. Christopher was also preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas (Carolyn) and Dennis Hogan; brother-in-law, Jim Davis and significant other, Tara Duffy. He is survived by his children, Erin (David) Thompson, Patrick Hogan, Thomas Hogan and Jackie Duffy; grandchildren, Bonnie and Euan Thompson; siblings, Judy Davis, Michael (Maureen) Hogan and Peggy (Doug) Althaus; mother of his children, Nancy Hogan; and many other relatives and friends.

A loving father and loyal friend, Chris was always ready with a witty comment to liven up the conversation. He was in the 1976 graduating class at Alter High school and continued to support them every year by "donating" money to the black jack tables at the Alter Fest. He then went on to receive his Bachelors of Business at Wright State University and work both home and on the road as a Salesperson for Delco and Loctite, among other companies.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 10:30am-12pm at St. Albert the Great (3033 Far Hills Ave, Kettering, OH 45429). A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12pm. Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
