Jill Marie (clouse)Stephens, daughter of James Roy and Meredith Sue (Dedmon) Clouse, was born May 8, 1973, in Greene County, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, December 7, 2006, in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of thirty-three years, six months, and twenty-nine days.

On September 9, 2005 she was united in marriage to Floyd Stephens.

Jill is survived by her husband, Floyd, of the home; a son, Tyree Sharp, of Springfield, Missouri; a daughter Raine Clouse, of Mansfield, Missouri; her parents, Roy and Sue Clouse, of Mansfield, Missouri; four sisters, Sherry Sharp, and her husband, Randall, Karen Clouse, and Willie Carter, all of Springfield, Missouri, Jan Hobbs, and her husband, Kenneth, of Stuart, Florida, and Julie Roy, and her husband, Randall, of Mansfield, Missouri; her maternal grandparents, G.A. And Virginia Dedmon, of Mansfield, Missouri; her paternal grandparents, James and Dee Clouse, of Mansfield, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

She attended Mansfield High School and graduated with the Class of 1991, she was a former employee of the Greene County Division of Family Services. She had a free spirit with a winsome personality. She found her way into every heart that knew her. She loved her Daddy, Momma, four sisters, Granny, Poppy, Gram, and Poppy.

The farm on Sycamore Drive where Jill grew up was the love of her childhood and the dream of her adult life. She loved to go to town with Daddy, and if she wasn't sure she would be allowed to go, she would cup her face in her hand and say, "Daddy, see my pretty face, now can I go?"

Jill's childhood was one of playing dress up, riding the 90 motorcycle, milking cows, wearing mismatched clothes (on purpose), and enjoying every moment of life with the enthusiasm only Jill could express. Her heritage is one of Christian love, and at an early age she accepted Christ and was baptized.

Jill, we are so grateful to God for giving you to us to love for thirty-three years. We don't understand why God took you so young but we will always love and miss you, and remember the joy you brought to each one of us.
