He was born Nov. 30, 1970, a son of John and Carol (Fleming) Fultz. On April 22, 1995, he married the former Debra Mackneer who survives. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lynsey and Mackenzie, who were the joy of his life, and his dog, Sofie.
John was a 1989 graduate of West Snyder High School and was employed by Wood Mode for almost 18 years. Prior to that, he worked at Beavertown Weaving Mill.
He was a member of St. John's Ridge Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 942, and the Loyal Order of Moose.
John enjoyed camp fires, playing corn hole, hunting, and spending time with his family.
John is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lori and Mark Bornman, of Enola, and Gwen and Bobby Davis, of Beavertown; his mother-in-law, Betty Mackneer, of McClure, two sisters-in-law, Denise Levin, of Gibbsboro, NJ and Donna Shiver and her husband, Steven, of Lewisburg; two brothers-in-law, Nathan Mackneer and his wife, Leslie, of Selinsgrove and Rob Whisler and his wife, Bonnie, of Lewistown; four nephews, Tyler and his fiancé, Kasey, Brian, William and Scott; three nieces, Kristin, Emily and her husband, Trent, and Hannah; and many aunts, uncles and cousins whom were a big part of his life.
John was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, C. Melvin "Bill" and Florence Fleming; paternal grandparents, Alton and Ruth Fultz; his father-in-law, William Mackneer; his sister-in-law, Dianne Whisler; and his brother-in-law, Erick Levin.
A visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St, Beavertown and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Ridge Lutheran Church, Stage Road, McClure, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor David Pennebaker officiating. Interment immediately following service in Black Oak Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in John's memory may be made to the Fultz Children's College Fund at Swineford National Bank, 227 E. Main St., Middleburg, PA 17842, or to the American Diabetes Association, 65 E. Elizabeth Ave., Suite 502, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
