Dennis was born Nov. 26, 1959 in Joplin to Marie Webster Harmon and Darrell Harmon.
He was a lifetime area resident.He had a passion for golf and enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball. His favorite team, above all else, was the Kansas City Chiefs. He was one of their biggest fans.
Dennis came from a large family and, his family meant everything to him. He will be missed by all that knew him.
He married Marietta Cross on Valentine's Day in 2000. She survives at the home.
Additional survivors include his children, Brittany, Joplin, Blake, Joplin, Natalie Patrick, Carthage; his parents, Marie and Floyd "J.R." Baker, Webb City, Darrell and Karan Harmon, Baxter Springs, Kan.; siblings, Darrell Harmon and his wife, Karen, Carterville, Debbie Cansler and her husband, Ron, Joplin, Darla Harmon and Brent Lawson, Duenweg, Dawn Dunfee and her husband, Charlie, Neosho, Daren Harmon and his wife, Andrea, Carthage; three grandchildren, Brayden, Rielynn, Briley; many nieces and nephews; and many other extended family members.
Services are planned for Saturday at 10 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Lance Green and Walter Horne will officiate
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Parker Mortuary.
