Howard Gottfried Gackle Jr, age 53, of Brockway passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016 in Billings, Montana.
Howard was born on December 11, 1962 in Miles City Montana, the second child of Howard and Betty Gackle. He grew up on the family farm in Brockway and in Circle. He attended the Berry country school first thru fourth grade until the school closed in1973. Howard Started fifth grade in Circle and graduated from Circle High School in May of 1981.
Howard also worked at the Circle High school as a janitor, cleaning up after ball games. Howard also assisted his neighbors with ranching duties, such as branding and any other tasks such as moving machinery and combining grain.
Howard enjoyed spending time with family, and friends.
Howard is survived by his father, Howard Gackle Sr.; grandmother; Thelma Nagle, and aunt Sharon Tomasvich. His brothers, and sisters, Janice (Alan) Gackle, Patricia (Robert) Deese, Tracy (Desiree) Gackle, David Gackle, Christel (Pat) Denardo, and many Nieces and Nephews: Marissa (Gackle), Jessica (Deese), Robert Jr. (Deese), Nacoma (Deese), Joseph (Deese) Hunter (Deese), Ator (Deese), Neeka (Gackle), Kryton (Gackle), Ethan (Gackle), Heather (Gackle), AJ (Dusatko), and Cassie (Dusatko); Great nieces and nephews; Kingston, Chevelle, Sterling, Faith and Kenneth
He is preceded in death by, his mother Betty Gackle, his grandparents Gottfried and Christina Gackle, and Joseph Nagle also proceeded in death by aunts Palma, Alma, Cynthia Gackle and Eleanor Habel and uncles Oscar and Alvin Gackle and Bill Tomasvich.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 1:00-6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Circle. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Assemble of God Church in Circle.
Interment will follow in the Prairie County Cemetery.
