She was born in Troy, N.Y. on May 25th 1949, to the late Alfred A. and Helen M. (Storm) May.
Frances graduated from Troy High School in 1969 and went on to work for the New York State Department of Parks and Recreation for 23 years at Grafton Lakes State Park.
She is also credited with designing the Grafton town seal.
Frances was a member of the Grafton Senior Center as well as a member of the Grafton Historical Society.
She loved creating art especially painting and had a great knowledge of history.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sisters, Elizabeth and Alfreda, and brother, George.
Arrangements by the New Comer Funeral Home in Colonie, N.Y.
Interment will be on Friday at 9am at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Troy, N.Y.
