Matthew Xavier Moses, age 26, of Plymouth died unexpectedly on Wednesday September 14. He is survived by his son Tristan Santiago-Moses, and the mother of his child, Shantey Santiago. Matt is also survived by his parents, Robert E. Jr. and Elizabeth Malone-Moses; his sisters, Kelly Moses of Plymouth, and Kristin Moses of Plymouth, as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends. He was the grandson of Barbara and the late Robert Moses, and the late Harry and Rita Malone. Matt was born in Boston MA on July 18, 1990 and went on to graduate from Plymouth South High School, class of 2009. Afterwards he attended New England Institute of Art in Brookline. His lifelong passion was music, and he created his own business as a DJ. Matt loved riding dirt bikes, being out on his boat, tubing, and being with his friends. But, there was nothing Matt loved more than spending time with his son Tristan. For 26 years God blessed us with the gift of Matts life. He filled us all with enough love and laughter to last us every day of our lives, until were with him again. A visitation will be held at the Cartmell-Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd. Plymouth (Manomet), on Tuesday, September 20, from 4 till 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will take place the following day at St. Bonaventures Catholic Church in Plymouth (Manomet) at 10 a.m. Burial will take place in Vine Hill Cemetery in Plymouth. Donations in Matts memory may be made to the Tristan Santiago-Moses Fund at Citizens Bank, 2260 State Road, Plymouth MA, or in care of Robert Moses at 28 Dublin Drive, Plymouth, MA 02360.
