Born June 1, 1893, in Des Moines county, she was the daughter of William G. and Judith Dean Miller. She married John E. Howe, May 20, 1918, in Kingston. She was a member of First United Methodist church, Kingston, and WSCS.
Surviving: Son, Lyman, and daughter, Mrs. Orville (Helen) Anderson, both of Sperry; one grandchild.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, Fry Chapel, Reverend Clarence Burns; Kossuth cemetery. A memorial has been established to First United Methodist church.
