Jennie Mackall
Mrs. Jennie M. Mackall, 77, of 140 N. Surry Rd. died today at 12:30 a.m. in City Hospital following a three - month illness. Mrs. Mackall was born in Hookstown May 3, 1899, a daughter of John Lincoln Allison and Ella Laughlin Allison. She had resided here since 1927 and had been employed with the J. C. Penny Co. in the early 1940's. She was a member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church, its Ladies Association, the Dia Konia Class and the Country Cousins. She was a member of Crystal Chapter 18, Order of Eastern Star, having served as a worthy matron in 1955 and as a grand representative to Vermont 1957 - 59. In addition to her husband, J Ralph Mackall, at home, survivors include three sons, Ralph B. Mackall of Calcutta, Charles L. Mackall of Toledo and Hugh S. Mackall of East Liverpool, a sister, Mrs. Ellen Bartley of Chester, two brothers, J. Thomas Allison of Lakeland, Fla., and Clayton Allison of Emsworth, Pa., 9 grandchildren and 10 great - grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home here by the Rev. H. Gene Toot. Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon and night.
