Born Feb. 25, 1933, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Clarence and Sidney Woodrum Rodgers.
He was a retired mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Edwards Rodgers; four daughters, Rita Haste, Cindy Miller, Vickie Elmore and Jackie Matherly, all of Liberty; two sons, Greg and Jeff Rodgers, both of Liberty; two brothers, Lucian and Sam Rodgers, both of Liberty; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky L. Rodgers.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Bill Rose. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery.
