Joshua Joe Peters, 41, son of Deborah Peters and the late Frederick Peters, of Yuma, Arizona, died September 15, 2016 at home in Fruita, Colorado, in the company of his wife, Susan, and life-long friend, Aaron Baker.

Born September 6, 1975 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Joshua grew up in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Joshua worked in retail management, but his passion was for movies, music, creating culinary masterpieces, and making everyone around him laugh. Joshua was the life of the party and the most loving father and friend to his daughter, Zoe Alexandra Peters.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Peters; 12 year-old daughter, Zoe; his brother and sister-in-law, Shad and Shelly Peters and their children, Chance and Kelsey Peters and Heath Peters of Rangley, Colorado; mother-in-law, Barbara Palmer; and numerous good friends, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

Joshua will be remembered fondly for the joy and laughter he brought to everyone around him and will be dearly missed by all.

Services will be October 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Church in Grand Junction.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Zoe Peters Educational Fund at Wells Fargo Bank in Grand Junction or to HopeWest Hospice, Grand Junction.
