IRA THURMAN ANGLE, husband of Etha Ellen (Gruber) Angle, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Miss Audrey M. Angle, 24 East Green Street, Funkstown, aged 77 years. Born at Claylick, Pa., he was a son of the late Martin Luther and Amanda Catherine (Hawbaker) Angle.
He had resided in this county for 49 years, retiring from employment at Victor Products Corporation six years ago. He was a member of Washington Square Methodist Church.
Surviving, besides wife, are sons, Ira T. Angle, Jr., Rohrersville; Harold E. Angle, Hagerstown; daughters, Mrs. Marie E. Henninger, Funkstown; Miss Audrey M. Angle, Funkstown; Mrs. Norma A. Kelly, Hagerstown; sister, Mrs. Myra Smith, Mercersburg; brother, Edgar Angle, Polo, Il.; and six grandchildren.
Arrangements were by the Kraiss Funeral Home.
