Born, June 1, 1925, Anita entered her Lord's Kingdom on Jan. 19, 2008, at the age of 82.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 32 years, Roger Mason; stepchildren Maureen and Roger Mason; sisters Eileen Giaimo and Phyllis Brennan; and brother Jim Skeans.
Longtime resident of Sunnyvale, Anita was born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, and emigrated to the U.S. after WWII. She was kind, sweet, and a genuine peacemaker. She will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. at Church of the Resurrection, 725 Cascade Drive, Sunnyvale. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Loaves & Fishes, 508 Valley Way, Milpitas, CA 95035.
