NEW CARLISLE, IN. and MESA, AZ. -- Ermagene Agnes Headley Lintner, 85, passed away Saterday, August 17, 2019 at her home in Mesa. She was born on August 11, 1934 in New Carlisle to Estes E. and Erma M.. (Bowker) Headley. On June 16, 1957 she married Robert E. Lintner who preceded her in death on September 17, 1996.
Surviving are, a daughter, Rhonda J. Lintner, Mesa; three sons, Richard P. Zellers, Jr, California; Robert A. and Eldon E. Lintner, both of Mesa.; 17 Grandchildren ; 15 Great-grandchildren; and two sisters, America E. Schmaltz, Broda, MI. and Carol (Mel) Hochstetler, Elkhart, IN.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband were a son, Glen E. Zellers; two grandsons, Brian D. Zellers and Jousha Lintner; a grand-daughter, Sheri ' Leep and a Great-grand-daughter, Christa Maria Leep; four siblings, Helen B. Cole, Betty Jo, Estes Jr., Forest, Headley.
Gene graduated from New Carlisle High School in 1952. She & Bob moved their family to Arizona for Bob's health in 1969. With Bob's declining health, Gene became the families breadwinner. Working at Daniel's, , Zale's Jewerly. After retirement she decided to work for the Mesa School Corperation. retiring from there in 2010.
Viewing was from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019 and the service was at 2 pm on Thursday, Aug 22, 2019 at Mountain View Memorial Funeral Home. Entombment Is at Mountain View Memorial Gardens Mortuary, 7900 E Main St., Mesa.
