Jackie Morrison, age 82, of Canton passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014. She was born March 29, 1931 in Glenmorrison, West Virginia to the late Edward and Beatrice Young. Jackie loved the outdoors, working in her gardens, cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She attended Trinity Gospel. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Young and Jack Young; sisters, Ruth Vance Young and Billie Jean Freeman. Jackie is survived by her husband, Homer; son, Edward (Hollie) Morrison; grandchildren, Mason, Marissa, Kaytin, Michael and Rikelle; sisters, Loretta Muncey and Peggy Sparks; brother, Bob (Darlene) Young. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel from 12 to 1pm with funeral service to follow at 1pm with Pastor Faron Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
