David is survived by three sons, Jesse Sterling, West Milton, Benjamin Sterling of Dayton and Bradley Sterling of Piqua; four sisters, Vicky Sterling of Piqua, Patty Fraley of Piqua, Penny Lawrence of Piqua, and Tracy White of Urbana; one brother, Joe Harvey of St. Paris; two grandchildren, Raylie and Raygin Sterling both of West Milton. He was preceded in death by one son, Cody Sterling. David was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A Memorial Service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 475 W. Loy Road, Piqua 45356 with Bishop Randall Frisby officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua.
