Vernon Eugene Stone, 73, of Clarkridge, AR passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 in Russellville, AR. Vernon was born on June 12, 1943 in Clarkridge, AR to Rex and Eddie Ruth (Cockrum) Stone. He loved to fish and attend PBR.
He is survived by his mother Eddie Ruth Stone of Clarkridge, AR; two daughters, Debbie Darter of London, AR and Angie Noblett of Dardanelle, AR; one son, Mike Stone of Dardanelle, AR; one brother, Darrell Stone of Clarkridge, AR; one sister, Barbara Tilley of Gassville, AR; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Rex Lowell Stone.
Arrangements are under the direction of Conner Family Funeral Home. A visitation will be Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from noon until 2 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel. Bro. Bill McFarland will officiate. Pallbearers will be Rocky May, Chris Helms, Caleb Eubanks, Cody Noblett, Casey Stone, Toby Stone and Clayton Tucker. Honorary pallbearers will be Archie Lail, Vernon Flower, Jerry Sanders, Quincey Jones and Thurlo Oels. Burial will follow at Thacker Cemetery in Clarkridge.
