A daughter of the late Charles "Chick" and Freda Fetterman Williard, she was born February 3, 1947 in Commodore.
Mrs. Evans was a graduate of Purchase Line High School. Following graduation Margie worked for a short time at Bell Telephone. Margie was of the Protestant faith. She enjoyed working on her computer and all kinds of animals, especially her cats. Margie was a devoted wife and had a great zest for life.
Margie is survived by her husband, Gary R. Evans; one sister, Barbara Jean Pettengill, Lock Haven; a nephew, Jeff Webb, with whom she was very close; and numerous other nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Dave "Bud" Williard and a sister, Dolores Webb.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc. in Indiana where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday with Rev. Richard C. Russell officiating.
Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
