A homemaker and known for her sewing skills, Mrs. Waldon was employed in the sewing department of the Benchcraft Corporation in earlier years. Her life was devoted to the family she adored and they will always remember the bedtime stories she shared with them about coon hunting with her dad. She enjoyed gospel programs and was an avid Elvis Presley fan.
Mrs. Waldon is survived by her children, Regina Gunn (Jeff), Jerry, Tony and Stoney Waldon, all of Walnut, her sisters Lizzie Dean, Carol Mauney and Patsy King, all of Ripley, her grandchildren, Josh and K.t. Holley and Samantha Waldon and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Hester Blythe Moore, a sister, Sadie Harrison, a brother, Jeff Moore and brother in law Dennis Waldon.
